Kelly's Home and resting
Kelly is home and resting after this afternoon's surgery. Initial results indicate she will not need chemo therapy.
Kelly, I'm so sorry, my friend. You are in my prayers and I have put you on the prayer chain at church. I know God is going to see you through this. He is faithful. I wish I were closer to you so I could be there, hug and cry with you. I know you have a wonderful supportive husband and family and they will take good care of you. Thanks for sharing your story and please keep us posted on your progress. You are strong and you have the strength of the Lord with you. ISA. 40:31 Trust Him, cling to Him and he will raise you up. Much love and prayers, Debbie
Hiya Kelly, you don't know me but my wife and I, Steve and Tina Banner, are members of Calvary and in the Ken Sanders bible study class so we know Bill and Jeanette. They had emailed us about you and we have been praying for your total recovery. Forty is such a young age to be dealing with cancer however God will strengthen and heal you for a purpose. Perhaps you can upon recovery encourage others with cancer. Allow me to recommend a book for you and family: "What Cancer Cannot Do." My family sent it to me recently and it has encouraged me with accounts and testimonies of those dealing with cancer. It is short but powerful. Please believe that you are in many prayers. God bless and hold to Him tightly.
Hey Kelly, I haven't checked my e-mails in a few days and I am sitting here in disbelief! Mom and I were just talking about you the other day. She had gotten the thank you note from you and was so glad you all enjoyed the cookies. Thats her way of sharing her love with everyone:) I thought about you on your birthday but in the chaos didn't even get a chance to e-mail you. Actually you have been on my mind alot lately and now I know that God put you on my heart for a reason! Just didn't know it was this--so sorry to hear the news. We will be praying for you my dear friend. God is so much bigger!!- I know you know that. And I know that there are so many emotions that you all are dealing with right now. I'll be lifting you uup to the Almighty Healer! I love you Kelly-Hugs! Wish I could be there to give youa real one!
Steve and Tina: My mom said that Jeanette had passed along this link to you. She briefly mentioned a little about your battle with cancer. Thank you for your prayers and please know that I am praying for you and your family during this time too. I will plan on looking for the book you mentioned. God has definitely been blessing us and has given opportunities to share how our Lord worked out the details last week. Not sure if people were more shocked over the fact that I have cancer or that I was attributing the glory to God :O). May you experience the Lord's blessings on your life during this journey that you are walking!
